Centre for Thermal Cutting Powered by Messer Cutting Systems

Hindustan college of engineering and technology in association with Messer cutting systems private limited, Coimbatore has setup the Messer powered thermal cutting lab on July 2017. The centre gives an idea on modern metal cutting technologies like oxy fuel flame cutting, plasma cutting and laser cutting process through virtual mode.  In the virtual mode student can learn modern metal cutting process through television. Every semester students have been trained. 

Outcomes of the Training Program 

--Students got insight knowledge in the modern metal cutting process like oxy fuel flame cutting, plasma cutting and laser cutting process.

--Practical Knowledge on metal cutting process has been improved to meet the industrial requirements
